Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)

Hello lovelies!

How amazing is this God we serve, that we get to be loved so deeply, that we get to be protected so well. Yesterday I posted on our big move, which I understand to some might not be big, and how nervous I was. Insomnia got the best of me and so I turned to worship to settle down and wow, He is so good to me.

Peter had faith enough to walk out on the water and follow Christ without knowing his next step. And so will I.

Today I want to encourage you lovelies to put your faith before your feet, to trust God’s plan, and to take a listen to this song.

Thank you lovelies! Jesus loves you!

I will miss this place ..

Hello lovelies!! … thegreeneyedgroom and I have sold our first home, he has passed probation with flying colors, and we are on our way this week to our new townhome near his new city. Being a firewife is an adventure for sure! Hats off to military wives out there, not sure how you do the moving so well! I am a wreck, I’ll admit.

Lots of DIY and decorating posts to come {yay!} – but for now, a goodbye to my hometown that I am sure many folks can relate to. We are from the PacNW and are sooo proud of the rain and mud in our veins.

And honestly, I’m nervous to leave. I am trying not to say afraid, because I know that God has willed this for us and that my husband would not call us to just anywhere away from home. This is our plan God created for us and our blueeyedbabies. And some day, I pray, they will feel the same way about our new home as I do about thegreeneyedgroom’s & my hometown.

Sappy. I know. People move all the time. I know. But I am not people, y’all.

I want to encourage you lovelies to be grateful for your roots today. Whatever they are and whoever is involved in planting them .. remember they are yours. Own it. Embrace it.

God allowed you to be brought up the way you were so that you would become the beautiful, wonderful and beloved you.

‘I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.’ Psalm 32:8

Thank you lovelies! Jesus loves you!
